The verdict: meh.
Short Why: I didn’t see any coverage at all, and it felt greasy.
Long Why: I know BB Creams aren’t supposed to be full coverage, and maybe sometimes its wrong to expect medium coverage, but is it so bad to think there would be at least light coverage? This product did not give me any inkling of coverage! If it had a feel and effect of a primer maybe I could excuse this. However, it feels greasy on the skin and it never feels like it really soaks in. These two things together make it a product that I just don’t “get” the point of. If I wanted that kind of effect I would go with a moisturizer, or a tinted primer. As it stands now it doesn’t seem worth my time, but maybe it will work better for you? I was using the “fair to light” version, so maybe the “light to medium” would work better?
To make this product work for me I used a powder foundation over it, and it was usable. By the end of the day it did feel a little mask-y since I had a layer of powder foundation over it, and there was a little oil breakthrough. Someone with ultra dry skin will have to test this out at let me know, otherwise I am not sure who the target customer.
What do you guys think? Am I missing something? Have I become biased since I have been using powder foundations this summer and am just not used to foundations/BB Creams any more? Someone let me know if I should give this product a second try in the comments below.
