1. Skintimate Skin Therapy Moisturizing Shave Gel Dry Skin Formula
Funny story… I bought this thinking that it was the full-sized version of the mini shave gel I had tried before, which turns out to have been a different brand all together. This explains why I felt the formulas were completely different, haha! I do think that it is moisturizing, which is nice, but it’s nothing spectacular because I still feel like my legs are dry and need lotion after I shave. Probably will buy again in the future just because it’s cheap and there are coupons, but it isn’t my #1 favorite or anything.
2. & 3. Bath & Body Works Moisturizing Hand Sanitizer in Sweet Pea and White Citrus
With my office job I have become obsessed with hand sanitizer so when I discovered that BBW has a moisturizing kind I jumped at the opportunity. I have one more left after these two (that one is in Japanese Cherry Blossom), but I don’t think I’ll be buying any more. I did like that they felt more moisturizing than regular hand sanitizer but it wasn’t to the extent that I felt I could get away with out following with hand lotion, which was what I was hoping it would do so I could eliminate clutter on my desk. No such luck. I will probably try other BBW hand sanitizers but it will be the big pump bottles of the regular formula.
4. Schick Quattro for Women Sensitive Razor Refill
I’ve bought these razors many times just because I have the razor handle and the blades are fine. However, I still think the Schick Hydro Silk is significantly better so I don’t know why I keep buying these Quattro ones. They are a little cheaper, but I almost don’t think it’s worth the savings because the Hydro Silk is SO much nicer. I wouldn’t doubt that I might buy these again though if I have the right sale and coupons, haha.
5. Simple Eye Make-Up Remover
I have used this up before (check out some of my previous posts), and I still love it and will be buying another bottle once I get through the Almay Make-Up Remover Pads that I felt possessed to buy for some reason. I can’t wait to be reunited with this make-up remover!
6. One Love Organics Neroli Aromatic Body Serum Sample
I like the idea of this spray on moisturizing oil because I love how well oils work but I had applying them. With the spray feature it makes it really easy. I got this sample in my November Birchbox and I am glad I did because now I am kind of contemplating buying the full size!
7. LUSH Charity Pot Hand and Body Lotion 1.5 oz
I bought this on a whim one time when shopping with a guy friend. I am not sure what possessed me to get it, but I am glad I tried it because it was always something that tempted me a LUSH, but now it will no more! The smell is really nice, like true cocoa, but the formula is thin, which is not what I was expecting from something labeled a hand lotion. It works fine, but nothing to write home about.
8. Nivea Creme Tin
I have used up one of these before and my opinion is pretty much the same: nothing spectacular, shouldn’t have bought it, won’t buy it again. I did manage to use this one up pretty fast though by using it as a foot cream.
9. Nivea A Kiss of Recovery Medicated Lip Care
I love Facebook coupons because I got this for free! I liked it better than the other Nivea lip balms I can recall, because I really like the medicated feeling of the balm and I think it does work better than the other balms. I am not sure if I will buy it again just because it can be expensive, I have a lot of other chapsticks to get through, and I would like to try new things. Good to know it works though in case I am in need of a medicated lip balm specifically.
10. L’Occitane Dry Skin Foot Cream mini
This was fun to try as a free gift with purchase sample because now I know that I don’t need to spend money on the full size. It kind of moisturized my feet, but I don’t think it was thick enough to do any significant help. I also didn’t like the lavender smell. Some people may love that about it because it is a true nice lavender smell, but I just don’t like lavender at all.
11. L’Occitane Dry Skin Hand Cream mini
I love this hand cream, have used up two half sized tubes that I have gotten for free through various coupons and gifts with purchases. Now that I don’t have any more free tubes I am considering buying the full size but I think I might wait and try out a hand cream from the Body Shop first to compare.
12. Benta Berry G-1 Creme Sample
I liked the soft texture of this thicker cream. I used it at night and I felt that it always hydrated as much as I needed it to. I feel like maybe it can be a touch greasy come morning so I never used it during the day. I have another little sample tube to use up, but at this point I like the product but I think it might be too expensive at full size because it isn’t necessarily the very best.
13. Soap & Glory Hand Food
Omg if I could put into words my love of the scent of this hand cream I would write a sonnet! It is just a gorgeous smell, and the lotion itself is pretty decent. It has it’s greasy moments but they are totally forgivable because the scent is divine. Will I buy the full size tube next time? YES! Just gotta use up that giant hand cream I bought at Victoria’s Secret this month first… wah! I want new Hand Food now!! 😛
14. Masque-ology 7D Moisture Day and Night Cream Sample
This product was fine but the sample size annoyed me! They only gave me almost not enough for one sparse application of my whole face, grrr! I’d rather have way to much than too little. Oh well. The cream itself was nice, but I think the Benta Berry G-1 Creme is a little bit better, and this felt kinda like a thinner version of it. Buy the full size? Not happening at $68 that’s for sure!!
15. Masque-ology Masque Cleanse with Bubble Technology
I don’t know why this was called “masque” cleanse when it isn’t a mask for your face… and I don’t know what they were trying to refer to as “bubble technology” because there wasn’t anything specially bubbly about it. It was a nice simple cleanser and reminded me of the Biore cleanser I am using now, just with a more luxe texture. Buy the full size? Not likely.
